Misolic started strongly against the Swiss Davis Cup player, winning the first set 6:2. Huesler then turned the tables, not only winning the second set 6:3, but also leading the deciding set by a break. But Misolic managed to turn things around again and won the third set 6:4. In the round of 16, the Styrian will now play against Frenchman Ugo Blanchet.

Also through is Spanish super talent Martin Lanadluce, who benefited from the retirement of eighth-seeded Japanese Sho Shimabukuro.

Gerald Melzer had a successful experience. The left-hander had few problems in the second round of qualifying with the German Louis Wessels, winning 6:4 and 6:3, and will face the Swiss Jerome Kym, also a qualifier, in the first round. And that will be tomorrow, Tuesday, in the fourth match after 10 a.m.

Before that, Dennis Novak will play against Lucas Puille on the Center Court in Mauthausen, followed by Joel Schwärzler against the German qualifier Mats Rosenkranz. On Court 1, Sebastian Sorger will face Max Rehberg, followed by Lukas Neumayer against the third-seeded Canadian Gabriel Diallo.
