In times of COVID-19, Alexander Zverev is probably exactly what you call a frequent flyer. The German was in the US during the lockdown, but has since also headed for Germany, Monte Carlo and now Belgrade. In the latter destination, the seventh in the world rankings is now allowed to do his job again, because the man from Hamburg will serve on the Adria Tour launched by Novak Djokovic.
While tomorrow will be the first big highlight - Alexander Zverev meets Novak Djokovic in the last group game - the role of favorites this Saturday is much easier to assign. Zverev will play his first match against Filip Krajinovic, who is at least in 32nd place in the world rankings.
At one point, Krajinovic and Zverev were already facing each other at Zverev's home tournament in Hamburg the previous year, when the German barely won in three sets. While Krajinovic still has to wait for his first career title, his 23-year-old counterpart has already been successful on the ATP tour eleven times.
