Alexander Zverev can literally have a night session on the Adria Tour in Belgrade. Germany's number one is not expected to start its second group game against Viktor Troicki until 10 p.m. Zverev won the first game of the day, the world ranking seventh defeated Filip Krajinovic in three extremely competitive sets. Dusan Lajovic, on the other hand, was beaten by the world number one, Novak Djokovic.
Zverev and Troicki have faced each other four times so far, favorite Zverev has been allowed to leave the field three times. Only the first duel of the two Troicki won in 2015. In the last duel, however, the Serb was again close to defeating Germany's number one - in Vienna 2017 he was defeated in the third set.
In this comparison, the world ranking also speaks for Alexander Zverev. Troicki can only be found at position 184, while Zverev has been a fixture in the top 10 for several months. The game is played in "Fast Four Mode" on two sets won.
