The list of COVID-19 cases around Novak Djokovic's Adria Tour, is again growing by a prominent case. As the Croatian announced on Instagram, Goran Ivanisevic also tested positive for the corona virus. Novak Djokovic's trainer was involved in the organization of the exhibition tournament series and was involved in both stations.

In addition to Ivanisevic, Borna Coric, Grigor Dimitrov, Viktor Troicki and also the world number one, Novak Djokovic, had previously tested positive for the corona virus. This rapid expansion is due in particular to the fact that there were hardly any safety measures during the Adriatic tour, shaking hands, hugs and evening parties were on the program in Belgrade and Croatia.

Sharp criticism of the event

This caused displeasure among many tennis observers, among them Dirk Hordorff, Andy Murray and Nicholas Kiefer expressed it quite clearly. After the positive tests, the remaining stations of the Adria Tour were canceled, and the final in Croatia also had to be canceled after Grigor Dimitrov's positive test result.

To mark the occasion, Goran Ivanisevic caused outrage on the Internet with a statement that appears in a completely different light today. As a Twitter user translated, the Croatian at Center Court said after the official cancellation of the final to the disappointed fans: "Why are you booing me? I'm not the one who tested positive."
