Alexander Zverev: Thomalla trick & a (too) long season

Alexander Zverev had to give up in the semifinals at the last ATP Masters 1000 event of the year in Paris-Bercy. The season was already too long, emphasized the third in the world rankings afterwards. In the semifinals itself, the German could only count on their support thanks to a trick by neo-partner Sophia Thomalla.
