Felix Auger-Aliassime, John Millman and Jeremy Chardy will replace ex-members Djokovic, John Isner, Vasek Pospisil and Sam Querrey together with Murray. The last four actors named have all contributed to the founding of the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA).

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have both been on the players' council for a long time. The ATP was founded in 1972, and tournament organizers are also included on the board. The current vice-president, the South African Kevin Anderson, takes over the office of president.

As one of two double players, Jürgen Melzer continues to belong to this group of twelve. Djokovic has not met with much approval with his intended "Professional Tennis Players Association" (PTPA).
