Jan-Lennard Struff could not even stop the rain interruption when the score was 6: 2 and 3: 2 in the final of the ATP Challenger tournament in Braunschweig. Because after the resumption, Struff did not play a game against Maximilian Marterer. And ended the tournament without dropping a set.

Marterer had simply left too much power in the two previous laps. Because both in the quarter-finals against Bernabe Zapata Miralles and against the Chinese Zhizhen Zhang, Marterer only won in the tie-break of the third set. The Franconian had to fend off six match points against Zhang.

For Struff, however, the working day in Braunschweig was not over with the victory in the individual. Because alongside Marcel Demoliner, the Warsteiner is aiming for a double strike against Roman Jebavy and Adam Pavlasek.
