What a drama in the second semi-final of the ATP Challenger in Braunschweig: Maximilian Marterer faced the Chinese Zhizhen Zhang several times, fended off six match balls - and still won 6: 3, 5: 7 and 7 in the end: 6 (4). In the previous round, Marterer had to pass against Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the tie-break of the third set.

Jan-Lennard Struff's appearances so far are completely different. The German Davis Cup player remains in Braunschweig without losing a set. On Friday he won against Swiss Henri Laaksonen 6:3 and 6:3.
