ATP Challenger: Fourfold kick-off in Bratislava

In the second match of the day at the Centercourt (not before 11 am), the first round will initially see a purely Austrian duel between Dennis Novak (ATP 124) and Sebastian Ofner (ATP 164). The native of Lower Austria and the Styrians had already met in the same place in the quarter-finals last year. At that time, Novak had the upper hand in three sets and was one round against Lukas Rosol (ATP 164) eliminated in the semifinals.

Maggots and Gojowczyk with bye

After that, Cologne's Oscar Otte (ATP 161) is in third place for the start of the 22-year-old Indian Sasikumar Mukund (ATP 235). And Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (ATP 166) will then be dealing with 23-year-old Italian Filippo Baldi (ATP 213) at his opening.

The two set players Yannick Maden (ATP 116) and Peter Gojowczyk (ATP 118) will intervene in the Challenger tournament of the second highest category, however, at the earliest from Tuesday into the action. Both the Stuttgart Maden and the Munich Gojowczyk have received a bye in the first round.

In addition, Mischa Zverev (ATP 291), who plays against the Ukrainian veteran Illya Marchenko (ATP 256) on Monday in the qualifying final (10 o'clock), can also join the main round. From Switzerland in Bratislava no player is in the race.

Hanfmann continues South America trip in Uruguay

Yannick Hanfmann (ATP 183) has meanwhile received a bye for the first round at the ATP Challenger 80 Tournament in Montevideo (Uruguay) as number twelve in the seedling list. In the second round, the athlete from TennisHub Oberhaching meets the winner between the Argentinian Juan Pablo Ficovich (ATP 249) and the 19-year-old youngster Thiago Seyboth Wild from Brazil (ATP 311). Hanfmann was already in South America last week in the ATP Challenger in Ecuador at the start, where he had reached the quarterfinals.
