In lap one, Misolic had to face fourth seeded Tomas Machac from the Czech Republic. And the Styrian managed a little surprise with 6: 2, 3: 6 and 6: 2. In round two, Misolic now meets either Joris de Loore or Tibo Colson, but in any case against a local hero.
Jurij Rodionov, on the other hand, had to admit defeat to Jozef Kovalik at the start. Rodionov, who was nominated for the Austrian Davis Cup squad in Rijeka at the beginning of February, lost 7: 6 (4), 5: 7 and 4: 6.
Dennis Novak and Sebastian Ofner are also in action this week. Namely at the ATP Challenger tournament in Quimper. Ofner slipped into the main draw as an alternate, starting against Matteo Arnaldi. Novak opens against a lucky loser.
