Dennis Novak is not very happy with the surface at the ATP Challenger tournament in Quimper when you saw the father of two on Instagram. However, that didn't stop Novak from getting off to a flying start against Nick Hardt. The Austrian Davis Cup player, who already won a Chalenger title in Nonthaburi earlier in the season, won 6-2 and 6-1 and now meets Lucas Pouille, who is trying to make a comeback again.
Sebastian Ofner slipped into Quimper's field as an alternate. And the Styrian made the best of this opportunity: Ofner defeated the Italian Matteo Arnaldi, who was seventh, 3: 6, 6: 2 and 6: 1. Now Otto Virtanen from Finland is waiting.
