The sixth seeded Austrian beat Tomas Machac from the Czech Republic 6: 2, 6: 3 in the quarter-finals and now meets the fourth seeded Indian Prajnesh Gunneswaran (ATP No. 138) in the round of the last four.
Mackenzie McDonald (USA) and Henri Laaksonen (Switzerland) contest the remaining semi-finals.
The two top seeders, Mikhail Kukushkin and Evgeny Donskoy, were already eliminated at the beginning.
