The chances of a home win at the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Cordoba are still good. Even if youngster Sebastian Baez, who made his debut at the #NextGen Finals in Milan last November, failed 1: 6 and 6: 7 (3) against Chilean Alejandro Tabilo. With Diego Schwartzman, Tabilo not only gets another Argentinian, but also the tournament favorite.
However, Schwartzman had to fight hard against Daniel Elahi Galan in his quarterfinals, winning 3:6, 6:0 and 7:5.
Weißborn in the double final
The second match of the semifinals will be played by local hero Juan Ignacio Londero and Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas. Londero beat Nikola Milojevic, Ramos-Vinolas beat Lorenzo Sonego.
The Austrian Tristan-Samuel Weißborn surprisingly made it into the doubles final alongside Fabrice Martin. The two won against Jaume Munar and Roberto Carballes Baena 3-6, 6-3 and 10-6.
