In which group do Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev come?

Almost traditionally, the draws for all tournaments always represent the first big highlight of a tournament week. At the ATP Finals, this part of the preliminary program may play an even more important role, as the year-end finals initially take place in a unique group mode.

The individual groups have particularly sonorous names this year. On the one hand there is the "Group Tokyo 1970" based on the first ATP finals in history, on the other hand the "Group London 2020" - of course, a homage to the last year-end finale in the British capital. As is known, Turin will be played from 2021.

Schwartzman wants Nadal, Thiem and Tsitsipas

Who plays in which group will be shown at the draw on Thursday at 5:45 p.m. CET. The only thing that is certain at the moment is that Novak Djokovic will lead "Tokyo 1970", Rafael Nadal "London 2020". After that, the two best future players will be drawn among the currently two best professionals.

For this year, after Roger Federer's cancellation due to injury, the following couples resulted: Dominic Thiem and Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev as well as Andrey Rublev and Diego Schwartzman. By the way, the Argentine wished for Nadal, Thiem and Tsitsipas as group opponents before the draw - a constellation with which every Austrian tennis fan would be satisfied.
