ATP Finals Turin: Mektic and Pavic beat the favorites

Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavic made a big step towards the semifinals at the ATP Finals in turin. The Croatian Olympic champions from Tokyo 2021 won against Esley Koolhof and Neal Skupski 6: 4 and 7: 6 (3). This means that Mektic/Pavic have two wins and a set ratio of 4:1. Koolhof and Skupski, seeded first in Turin, have to fight Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek for their semi-final spot in the final group game.
The latter lost against Mektic/Pavic on Monday, but can still move into the semi-finals. To do that, Dodig and Krajicek have to beat Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios today. The two Australians narrowly lost to Koolhof/Skupski at the start.
