ATP Monte Carlo: Sensational Fognini cleans Nadal
Fabio Fognini's sensational performance reached the final of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo. Fognini defeated defending champion Rafael Nadal 6: 4 and 6: 2.

Fognini had previously won three of eleven games against Nadal, all in 2015. In difficult conditions and after a slow start, Fognini became stronger and stronger, while Nadal was more prone to mistakes.
