ATP Montpellier: Gojowczyk beaten! Roberto Bautista Agut follows David Goffin into the final

Peter Gojowczyk's strong run of success at the ATP 250 event in Montpellier, France has come to an end. The German lost to the top seeded Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut in the semi-finals. After a competitive opening sentence, in which the Spaniard should manage the decisive break to 6: 5, the world rankings were 13. no nakedness in passage two.

After two quick breaks, the Spaniard pulled away to 4: 0 and finally made it to the final after a good hour and 15 minutes with 7: 5 and 6: 1. In this, Bautista Agut now meets Belgian David Goffin, who had to work much harder for his ticket in the final. The Belgian, who had actually been looking for his form since the COVID-19-related interruption of the ATP tour, defeated the Belarusian Egor Gerassimov in three contested sets.
