Great success for the Swiss Marc-Andrea Hüsler: The Swiss surprisingly defeated Lorenzo Musetti in the semifinals of the ATP 250 event in Sofia and is thus in a final at ATP level for the first time. The 26-year-old could meet last year's winner Jannik Sinner in the final. The South Tyrolean will face Holger Rune on Saturday evening.

Hüsler showed strong nerves against Musetti - and a big fighting heart. After round one was dominated by safe service games, a tie-break had to make the decision. In this, the Swiss was already confronted with a 2:5 deficit, but Hüsler bagged the first segment with five points in a row.

Similar game in the second round, again there were few chances for the receivers. Until the score was 5: 6, the pressure for Musetti, who was serving, became too great - Hüsler made the two-set success perfect with a break after a little more than one and a half hours.
