And so an Austrian made it to the semifinals of the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Cordoba. However, not Dominic Thiem, who had to withdraw due to injury. Weißborn/Martin defeated the two Brazilians Rafael Matos and Felipe Meligeni Rodrigues Alvez 6:1, 5:7 and 10:7 and met Jaume Munar and Roberto Caballes Baena in the semi-finals, two Spaniards.
For Alexander erler, on the other hand, it was over in the quarter-finals in Pune. Erler and Jiri Vesely narrowly lost to Indian local heroes Ramkumar Ramanathan and Rohan Bopanna 6:7 (3) and 6:7 (4).
