David Goffin's lean period was long: 2017 was the last title for the Belgian in Tokyo. The next one finally came on Sunday in Montpellier. And Goffin, who is seventh in the singles career high, made a place in the ATP world rankings. He passed Milos Raonic and is 14th again. Roberto Bautista Agut. Final loser from Montpellier, stayed in 13th place.

How nothing happened at all in the top ranks: Novak Djokovic continues to lead ahead of Rafael Nadal and Daniil Medvedev , who is the only one of the top three in action this week. And can overtake Nadal with a good result in Rotterdam.

Thiem and Zverev unchanged

In contrast to Goffin, Alexei Popyrin's success in Singapore brought a quantum leap of 32 positions in the world rankings. The Australian is currently ranked 82nd. The newcomer of the week is of course Juan Manuel Cerundolo, who improved from 335 to 181 with his debut win in Cordoba.

From a German-speaking perspective, Dominic Thiem is the best in fourth place, Alexander Zverev is seventh. Jan-Lennard Struff follows on position 37, Dominik Koepfer on 71. Dennis Novak has made up four places with the quarter-finals in Montpellier and is currently number 98. Novak's conqueror in France, Peter Gojowczyk, has climbed 19 places and is ranked as Number 125 led. And Jurij Rodionov cemented his position as the third best Austrian with world number 139, a new career high, with the final in Nur-Sultan.
