Dominic Thiem and Herwig Straka go their separate ways

Dominic Thiem and his manager Herwig Straka go their separate ways after a little over two years. The 27-year-old from Lower Austria presented the Styrian in 2019 shortly before the French Open as the successor to his long-term coach and manager Günter Bresnik. Now Thiem, who is in a sporting crisis, has to look for a new man for business shortly after his first round in Paris.

According to a broadcast, the decision has nothing to do with the athletic performance, but had been discussed for a long time and "happened on the best of terms". Thiem let it be known in a statement that he accepted Straka's decision. The successor is not known for the time being.
