After Thiem and Schwartzman had to go through a match-tiebreak against Fernando Verdasco and David Marrero as well as against Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic, the Austrian-Argentinian couple had no problems in the final round against Joao Sousa and Guido Pella. And that after Thiem had previously lost to Novak Djokovic in an extremely close match.

Tecau and Rojer have already landed their big coup in round one: The Romanian and his Dutch partner Bob and Mike Bryan defeated in the match tie-break with 12:10. In the semifinals, Rojer / Tecau then benefited somewhat from the late start of their double against Wesley Koolhof and Stefanos Tsitsipas: The Greek had previously had to work hard against Alexander Zverev.
