Double champion Bruno Soares fell ill with Covid-19 before the US Open

The Brazilian US Open winner in doubles, Bruno Soares , fell ill with Covid-19 shortly before the tournament. The 38-year-old made it public on Thursday (local time) after his final success with Mate Pavic. The duo from Croatia and Brazil had previously defeated number eight Wesley Koolhof / Nikola Mektic (Netherlands / Croatia) 7: 5, 6: 3.
