This is ensured by a world-class field with nine top 10 players and attractive side events. The traditional tournament in Stuttgart's Porsche Arena, which starts with qualifying on Saturday at 11 a.m., will be an experience for the whole family. A Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo awaits the winner of the final on April 24 as the main prize. Here are the most important facts and figures.

"A great figurehead for Porsche and the Stuttgart region"
"We're delighted that so many top players are playing at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix this year," says Oliver Blume, CEO of Porsche AG. “The tournament has global appeal and is a great showcase for Porsche and the Stuttgart region. That's why we're happy that spectators are allowed in the Porsche Arena again this time and that we can present world-class tennis live to them."

World number 1 in the Porsche Arena
The starting list is headed by Iga Swiatek, the current number 1 in the world. The Pole, 2020 winner of the French Open in Paris, became the first player ever to win the WTA 1000 tournaments in Doha, Indian Wells and Miami this season. Other top players are the current French Open winner Barbora Krejcikova (Czech Republic), Paula Badosa (Spain), last year's finalist Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff (USA) and Karolina Pliskova, the winner of 2018. The Porsche brand ambassadors Angelique Kerber will also be there and Emma Raducanu (Great Britain), the 2021 US Open champion.

Wildcards for Laura Siegemund and Bianca Andreescu
Along with Angelique Kerber, who won in Stuttgart in 2015 and 2016, there are two other German players in the main draw: Laura Siegemund, the 2017 winner, and Jule Niemeier from the Porsche Talent Team will receive a wild card. Nastasja Schunk and Eva Lys, who are also promoted in the Porsche Talent Team, are playing in the qualification thanks to a wild card. With the help of a top 20 wildcard, Bianca Andreescu (Canada) makes her debut at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. The winner of the US Open 2019 celebrates her long-awaited comeback on the WTA Tour in Stuttgart after a long break and many setbacks.

Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo: dream car for the winner
Win the final, get in and get your pulse racing: The new Porsche Taycan GTS Sport Turismo is the main prize at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. It embodies pure Porsche E-Performance, thanks to its overboost output of up to 440 kW (598 hp) when using Launch Control. The sporty silhouette is eye-catching, and the functional trunk under the tailgate fits more than just a tennis bag. The Taycan GTS Sport Turismo also impresses its new owner with its acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds with Launch Control and its range of up to 490 kilometers.

Stuttgart Ballet and Badminton Final Four
An attractive supporting program is a tradition at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. In the new Porsche World in the foyer of the Porsche Arena, visitors can admire and experience very special Porsche vehicles. There will also be autograph sessions for the stars and hands-on activities for young and old. At the Porsche Mini Tennis Grand Prix, youngsters in the U9 age group will compete on the final weekend in the Public Village. A sporting highlight alongside tennis is the Final Four tournament in badminton, in which the best teams will play on Court 1 on April 22nd and 23rd for the German championship. The performance of the Stuttgart Ballet promises to be a pleasure for the senses. The world-famous company will once again get the audience in the mood for the finale with a performance on Center Court.

"Aces for Charity": Porsche donates to children in the Ukraine
In the "Aces for Charity" campaign, Porsche donates 100 euros for every ace hit at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. The amount donated goes equally to the Agapedia Foundation and the State Sports Association of Baden-Württemberg. "With the traditional charity campaign, we want to assume social responsibility as a company in the long term," says Sebastian Rudolph, Head of Public Relations, Press, Sustainability and Politics at Porsche AG. “We are pleased that we can support charitable organizations with this. This year our focus is on projects for refugees from Ukraine.”
