For the first time in 26 years, the German Tennis Association (DTB) has increased its membership.

As the DTB announced on Sunday, the number of members in tennis clubs grew by 1.2 percent in 2021 compared to the previous year. As the largest tennis association in the world, the DTB has a total of just under 1.38 million members, compared with 1.366 million in the previous year.
In addition, President Dietloff von Arnim announced at the 73rd Ordinary General Meeting in Bremen that Sports Director Klaus Eberhard will be leaving the DTB in the middle of next year at his own request. "I hope that we can continue to draw on your wealth of experience," said von Arnim. The position will soon be advertised by the DTB.
