French Open: Barbora Krejcikova sensationally wins the title in Paris
The Czech Barbora Krejcikova won the French Open in 2021. In the final, she defeated Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6: 1, 2: 6 and 6: 4.

Pavlyuchenkova struggled, came into the game better in the second half, was able to pull off her more aggressive tennis and reduce the errors. Even if she had to be treated after a slip in the right adductor area shortly before the sentence adjustment.
In the third set Pavlyuchenkova came back after an early deficit, but in the end Krejcikova celebrated the greatest success.
Krejcikova succeeds Iga Swiatek: Polina won in Paris in autumn 2020, at least as sensationally.

"I thank everyone who came to cheer us on today," said Krejcikova after her victory. "The atmosphere was great. I'm just damn happy."
In doubles, she had already won two major tournaments, in mixed even three, in singles she only really got off to a good start last autumn and played her way from a place outside the top 100 to the top of the world. On Monday she will be in 15th place thanks to her victory in Paris.
Oh yes: Krejcikova is also in the double final: Here she can make the "double" on Sunday. At the side of Katerina Siniakova, she meets Bethanie Mattek-Sand and Iga Swiatek.
