French Open: Cedrik-Marcel Stebe fails in the final qualifying round

Cedrik-Marcel Stebe narrowly missed qualifying for the main draw of the French Open. The German lost 6-3 and 6-3 to Chun-Hsin Tseng in the third and final qualifying round on Friday.

Nothing will come of the 14th participation in a Grand Slam main draw for Cedrik-Marcel Stebe. The German had made it into the final qualifying round for the second major event of the year, but was beaten there by Chun-Hsin Tseng 3:6 and 3:6.

Alexander Zverev, Daniel Altmaier, Oscar Otte and Peter Gojowczyk are firmly in the main draw. On Friday afternoon, Daniel Masur has the chance to move into the main draw as the fifth German, the Bückeburg player will meet Frenchman Geoffrey Blancaneaux in the final qualifying round.
