Julia Grabher is in the qualifying final of the French Open

Great success for Julia Grabher: The Austrian is in the third round of the French Open qualification after a 6: 3, 4: 6 and 6: 2 success over the Belgian Marie Benoit. In the third set, the 24-year-old even caught up a break deficit and now has the chance to move into the main field. To do this, she would have to beat Liu Claire or Hailey Baptiste in the qualifying finals.

In the men's category, all three qualifying starters have already been eliminated. After the defeats of Jurij Rodionov and Dennis Novak, Sebastian Ofner also had to admit defeat to Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas 7: 6 (10), 5: 7 and 3: 6 in a first round match that was postponed due to the rain. Thus Dominic Thiem remains the only main field participant on the men's side.
