The nerves, they were clearly noticeable in both Paula Badosa and Tamara Zidansek in the first quarter-final duel of this year's French Open. The favored Spaniard already led 3-0 and a double break in the first set, but ultimately the world rankings 85 should win the opening round. from Slovenia - 7: 5 it was said after 55 minutes.

After the 7: 5, 4: 6 and 8: 6 victory, the Slovenian is in a semifinal of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in her career. In this, the 23-year-old has to deal with Elena Rybakina or Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on Thursday.
