The legitimation takes place through a negative PCR test, which is not older than 48 hours, the proof of a complete vaccination or the proof of a survived Covid-19 illness. This was announced by Amelie Oudea-Castera, general director of the French tennis association FFT, on Wednesday.

How many spectators will be admitted to the second Grand Slam tournament of the year from May 30th to June 13th has not yet been determined. Oudea-Castera said they are currently planning a daily number of 5388 visitors for the first nine days. From June 9th, up to 13,146 spectators will be admitted per day.

The FFT plans to "play the tournament in front of the largest possible number of fans while ensuring health and safety". Last year only 1000 spectators were allowed in the Stade Roland Garros per day.
