French Open: Thiem in Djokovic's half, kick-off against Tommy Paul

Dominic Thiem will play his opening game at the French Open against Tommy Paul. In the semifinals there could be a duel with Novak Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic will play against Hubert Hurkacz in his first match. After that, it could go against Sam Querrey for the world number one. In the same district as Djokovic is Alexander Zverev, who opened against John Millman .

Dominic Thiem is in the same half as the Serb. The Austrian plays at the start against the American Tommy Paul, then it would be against Alexander Bublik or a qualifier. In the third round, Kyle Edmund could wait for the first seed.

Fernando Verdasco and Juan Martin del Potro, two opponents of the 25-year-old's fear, could wait in the round of 16 and quarter-finals. Overall, Thiem can still be satisfied with his draw.

Federer and Nadal with a good draw

Swiss Roger Federer is in the third quarter. The 20-time Grand Slam winner opens against Lorenzo Sonego and is in the same district as Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Rafael Nadal will meet a qualifier in the first round. The defending champion would also meet a qualifying player in the second round. The Mallorcan first opponent could be David Goffin.
