Generali Open Kitzbühel: Oliver Marach and Jürgen Melzer fail in the semi-finals
Oliver Marach and Jürgen Melzer were eliminated in the semifinals of the Generali Open in Kitzbühel. The two Austrians were clearly defeated by Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos in two sentences.

This year there will be no Austrian tournament winner in Kitzbühel: After the domestic individual players had to pack their bags early, the hopes of the fans were on Oliver Marach and Jürgen Melzer. But in the semifinals it was over for the Austrian doubles at the ATP 250 tournament in Tyrol.
Marach / Melzer had no chance against the top seeded duo Granollers / Zeballos and had to admit defeat 1: 6 and 4: 6 after just over an hour of playing time. In the final on Sunday, Granollers / Zeballos will face the American Austin Krajicek and his Croatian partner Franko Skugor.
