German Ladies´ Series presented by Porsche: Zaja with two wins, Siegemund loses again
On the second day of the finals at the German Ladies' Series presented by Porsche in Versmold, Anna Zaja celebrated two successes: first in the game against Tamara Korpatsch that was canceled on Wednesday, and later also against Nastasja Schunk.

Zaja had slipped into the field of four only as a substitute for Anna-Lena Friedsam and in the first game of the day made a 1: 3 deficit against Korpatsch in the third set to a 6: 4. Against Nastasja Schunk, Zaja, who is already in the final, had to go into a tiebreak twice, finally winning 7: 6 (3) and 7: 6 (6).
On the first day in Versmold, Schunk defeated the high favorite Laura Siegemund in three sets. And for Siegemund things didn't go any better against Tamara Korpatsch. Again the outsider prevailed in three sentences. Siegemund can therefore no longer reach the final even with a success in the final group game against Zaja.
