On the first day of the final of the Tannenhof Resort German Men's Series at TC Großhesselohe, several highly competitive games were played at the highest level. Maximilian Marterer (ATP 376) and Oscar Otte (ATP 217) were successful at the start of the “DTB Pro Series” tournament, which included a limited number of TC Großhesselohe club members and was attended by the “DTB Pro Series”.

First Marterer defeated Hanfmann 6: 7 (9), 7: 6 (5), 6: 1 in a duel between the two professionals at TennisBase Oberhaching on the Leo-Benz center court in a season of over three hours. While Marterer's base colleague Yannick Hanfmann (ATP 143) had to live with not having closed the sack to victory in the second set, Marterer was able to celebrate an opening victory on the Isarhufer. “Right from the start, I found the match pretty good. I served well and was good against Yannick. It was a very good and focused match, ”said Marterer, who won the intermediate round at TC Großhesselohe almost four weeks ago.

In the following game Oscar Otte (ATP 217) prevailed against Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (ATP 133) with 6: 3, 6: 7 (1), 6: 3. Otte was able to celebrate a successful start on Pullacher Strasse. “The last time I played at the ATP Challenger was two years ago. The facility is very nice. I'm happy with the match, ”said Cologne-based Otte. Stebe, however, was able to intervene again after a recent break in training and, after a long time, hit the TCG again. "It's nice to be here again. I haven't been to Großhesselohe for a long time. A nice facility. It was fun to play here, even though I couldn't win today. ”
