After the lockdown in the Gütersloh district initially caused excitement and a move from Versmold to Mülheim an der Ruhr, the rest of the tournament week went according to plan.

At the replacement location in Mülheim, the favored Yannick Maden and Oscar Otte prevailed in the intermediate round and secured their place in the semi-finals. Cedrik-Marcel Stebe and Daniel Masur, who were top seeded after Jan-Lennard Struff's withdrawal, will also be in the final round. Both had been successful in the intermediate round in Oberhaching. Maximilian Marterer and Davis Cup double specialist Kevin Krawietz, who had pitched in Großhesselohe, will also be represented in the semi-finals. In Neuss, Mats Rosenkranz and Yannick Hanfmann were too strong for the competition.

Davis Cup captain Michael Kohlmann was satisfied with the playful quality at all of the venues and is now looking forward to the semi-finals: “The intermediate round also had a few surprises in store. This shows how high the level of the matches is and that there are many good players. The organizers of the semifinals in Meerbusch and all tennis fans before the livestream can look forward to high-class games. "

Matthias Bachinger (Oberhaching), Lucas Gerch (Großhesselohe), Sebastian Fanselow (Neuss) and Marvin Möller (Mülheim) were the winners of the bonus rounds held in parallel to the intermediate round at the same locations.

After another week's break, the Tannenhof Resort German Men's Series continues with the semi-finals from July 9th to 12th in Meerbusch in North Rhine-Westphalia.
