It got exciting again in the last game of the intermediate round, in which Cedrik-Marcel Stebe and Daniel Masur faced each other. After Masur dominated the first set with 6: 3, the strut put on one struggled back into the game in the second set. With 6: 2, 6: 3, the top favorite was able to win the final match and thus the inter-round tournament, which was endowed with a total of 17,000 euros.

"Today I felt a bit tired and the tension was a little lacking. I'm glad that I could turn the game around and win because Daniel didn't make it easy for me today. Overall, I am very satisfied with my tournament performance. The first three days were very good and I can definitely start the semifinals in two weeks well, "said the tournament winner after his success.

Both Cedrik-Marcel Stebe and Daniel Masur qualified as first and second in the group for the semi-finals of the Tannenhof Resort German Men's Series, which will take place in Meerbusch from July 9th to 12th. After the semifinals, the grand finale of the tournament series will then take place from July 21 at TC Großhesselohe. It was there that Maximilian Marterer prevailed against Jeremy Schifris, who had stepped in for Kevin Krawietz, 6-2 and 6-2.

In Mühlheim an der Ruhr Yannick Maden and Oscar Otte will play out the victory on Saturday, in Neuss Yannick Hanfmann and Mats Rosenkranz, who already met on Friday.
