German Pro Series: Torebko wins in Überlingen, Altmaier in Troisdorf
Peter Torebko and Daniel Altmaier prevailed in the placement games of groups 1 and 4 and 2 and 6 on Sunday. This concludes the first phase of the DTB german Pro Series.

Torebko, who was a hitting partner at the ATP Finals in London in 2018, won 6-3 and 6-3 against Johannes Härteis in Überlingen. Altmaier defeated Cedric-Marcel Stebe 7: 5, 4: 6 and 6: 3 in Troisdorf. This concludes phase one of the tournament for a total of 32 German professionals. Another round is Maximilian Marterer and outsider Nino Ehrenschneider or Luis Weßels and Christoph Negritu.
On Tuesday, 24 women will start playing in six preliminary round groups in Darmstadt, Stuttgart and Versmold. Laura Siegemund is the favorite in the event.
