Golden Match: Tennis novice competes in ITF tournament qualifiers

On Monday, a video of a professional match from the ITF Tour caused a stir in the tennis scene. Krittin Koaykul (Thailand), the current number 1369 in the ATP ranking and number 1004 in the ITF ranking celebrated a so-called golden match. He did not lose a single point.

Artem Bahmet from Ukraine stood on the other side of the net. The compassion, however, was limited: In a video that was published on Twitter, you saw Bahmet's non-existent tennis arts.

Bahmet has never played a match before and that's what you look at. Nevertheless, he cited the qualification for the $ 15,000 ITF event in Doha, Qatar.

From the point of view of the ITF, this match is problematic because the match was offered by betting offices. In addition, it does not throw a good light on a world association that wants to market professional tennis.
