Günter Bresnik no longer manager of Dominic Thiem
After the sporting separation, now also the economic one: Günter Bresnik and Dominic Thiem have ended their manager-player relationship. The Austrian number one is now managed by Herwig Straka.

Günter Bresnik announced this in a press release. Literally:
"Dear Sirs and Madames,
After a total of around 17 years together, I am now withdrawing from my role as Dominics Manager from day-to-day operations. I am pleased that with Herwig Straka we have gained an internationally renowned, experienced, honest specialist.
Herwig in particular also has the capacities and opportunities to continuously accompany Dominic on tour. This became necessary given the variety of ongoing tasks that Dominic's great success brings.
I am proud and grateful that I was able to accompany Dominic on an essential part of his path. Our friendly relationship remains unaffected by the change in our professional relationship, and of course I am still available to him and his team in an advisory capacity.
