Annenheim remains firmly in German hands. After Silvia Ambrosio won the ITF W15 tournament there last week, there will be a purely German final tomorrow, Sunday. Lena Papadakis will then meet Laura Siegemund.
In the semifinals, both players had no problems. Papadakis beat Argentina's Julia Riera 6-2, 6-0. Siegemund had to fight a little harder against the Czech qualifier Barbora Palicova in the first round, but won 7:5 and 6:3.
Siegemund, who wants to return to the top of the world after injury problems, was enthusiastic about the tennis destination Carinthia. And of course I also want to impress in terms of sport tomorrow.
