Julia Grabher gets her second title of the season on the ITF tour

Outstanding performance by Julia Grabher at the ITF W60 clay court tournament in San Bartolome de Tirajana (Gran Canria): Austria's number one wins her second ITF title with a 6:4, 6:3 win over Argentina's Nadia Podoroska, who was seeded five. Tour title in the current season. The 25-year-old South American surprisingly advanced to the semifinals of the French Open in 2020. In February, Grabher was successful on hard court at a W25 event in Porto (Portugal).

Last year Grabher had won a title in the W60 category for the first time - in April she won the clay court tournament in Bellinzona (Switzerland) with a 6:2, 6:3 final victory against the Italian Lucia Bronzetti. With a total of 65 world ranking points, the Dornbirn native is expected to find herself in 117th place in the WTA rankings - a clear career best for the 26-year-old.
