In the second round in Pardubice, the 20-year-old Austrian had to catch up a set deficit against the Czech Andrew Paulson, now Filip Misolic seems to have really picked up speed. The Austrian seeded three at the ITF M25 event defeated the Ukrainian Eric Vanshelboim 6-4 and 6-4 in the semifinals on Saturday and made it into the final.

It is the chance for Misolic to win the fifth title on the ITF tour this calendar year. In the final, the 20-year-old will face Henri Squire from Germany. At the ITF M25 level, Misolic was only successful once, namely a few weeks ago at the home tournament in Telfs.
