It was not even five months ago that Karolina Pliskova announced the separation from Sascha Bajin. "Even good things end one day, it was a great time in which I learned a lot," said the Czech at the time. Now the two have found each other again. Pliskova announced this on her website.

Bajin thus replaces Leoš Friedl, under whose aegis Pliskova reached the quarterfinals at the US Open in 2022. With Bajin, greater success should now set in again. The German worked with the current world number 31. together from November 2020 to July of this year and led them to the Wimbledon final in 2021, among other things.

"The main reason I'm returning is that I still believe I can help Karolina with my insights. Her game has gradually improved since her hand injury and in my eyes she's proved that she's still up there with the best in the world We want to build on those achievements and that's why we decided to renew our partnership! I can't wait to be in their corner again," Bajin was quoted as saying.

Pliskova also announced the continued collaboration with fitness coach Jez Green and physiotherapist Martin Salvador. In preparation for the Australian Open, the 30-year-old will contest both WTA 500 tournaments in Adelaide.
