Matteo Berrettini and Novak Djokovic have had a highly successful working day: both the Italian and the Serb have reported success for Team Europe in two ways. After Berrettini and Djokovic had already been successful in pair skating, the two Europeans also triumphed in pair skating at the end of day two of the Laver Cup.

Against the two representatives of Team World - Jack Sock and Alex de Minaur - Berrettini and Djokovic made a lightning start, the Europeans were quickly 3-0 in front. The duo safely transported this lead to 5:2, but then had to accept the rebreak in the last impression. No leg break for the favorites, who fixed the 7:5 set win a little later with a break.

The Australian-American duo was not spared an early break in the second set either: Berrettini and Djokovic grabbed the serve to make it 3-1 and quickly moved away again to a three-game lead. The decision in this match: After almost one and a half hours, the Europeans fixed the 7: 5 and 6: 2 success. With this, Team Europe goes into the third and final day of competition at the Laver Cup with a comfortable 8:4 lead.
