Alexander Zverev made short work of Sunday: 6: 1, 6: 3 it was against Lu Yen-Hsun after less than an hour of playing time - Zverev was even spotted after he had another training session with team boss Michael Kohlmann, specifically for the returns. A good sign, judged Eurosport expert and brother Mischa Zverev, that shows that Sascha means the Olympic Games very much.
Zverev is still in singles and doubles, a decision about mixed will be made on Tuesday.
Now it's time for the second round - and there it goes against the Colombian Daniel Galan, a rather blank slate of the scene. Galan is currently ranked 113th in the ATP ranking, he has not yet cracked the top 100.
Who is Zverev opponent Galan?
Mischa once played against Galan in the qualification for the ATP tournament in Munich, so he will get some tips - at least Zverev already suspects that Galan is more of a sand expert than a hard court specialist.
