In a purely Russian final Pavlyuchenkova and Rublev won against Aslan Karatsev and Elena Vesnina 6: 3, 6: 7 (5), [13:11], after defending one match point.

The two lived up to their favorite position, Pavlyuchenkova and Rublev were placed in fourth place. However, both had to show strong nerves in the course of the tournament: All of their matches were only decided in the match break.

Karatsev and Vesnina had kicked out the top seeded duo of Nicolas Mahut and Kristina Mladenovic from France right at the beginning.
