Of course, tennis is at the top of the priority list at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. As part of the supporting program, the parking challenge has become an indispensable highlight for the players.

Driving out of the hall with the winning car at the Porsche Tennis Grad Prix - of course all women were up to the task, who in the past more than four decades were allowed to lift the winner's cup first in Filderstadt, then in Stuttgart. But where to park the chic new vehicle? And what if you're in a hurry? Well: There has been the Parking Challenge since 2015, which tests the driving skills of the players in a playful way.

However, parking as fast and error-free as possible is not enough: The challenge has already been combined with a golf putt or shooting at a goal wall, with two disciplines in which main sponsor Porsche is also active. In addition, the players were already challenged with target shooting (also with the "wrong" hand), driving a bobby car and also by changing the vehicle. At the core, however, is parking, which in the best case is accomplished without touching the pylons.

In the past two years, Laura Siegemund and Angelique Kerber have shown that there is also a home advantage in the Parking Challenge. That ex-Formula 1 ace Mark Webber drives and parks in another category does not have to grieve the ambitious tennis professionals. Not even Ana Ivanovic, who had to deal with worse parking problems in 2016. Maria Sharapova, on the other hand, brought in her whole routine.
