Federer overtook Dominic Thiem with his final win against John Isner, but is fourth, 450 points behind Alexander Zverev. The German "lost" 590 points compared to the previous year. Novak Djokovic is still at the top, who even reached 80 points more than in 2018.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, who failed in the round of 16 to Denis Shapovalov, but advanced to the final in doubles, reached a new career high with position eight. Just like Shapovalov and his Canadian buddy Félix Ager-Aliassime: The two are now in positions 20 and 33 respectively - an improvement of 24 ranks for Auger-Aliassime.

Philipp Kohlschreiber is the second best German in 41st place, four ranks behind Jan-Lennard Struff still has his top 50 rank.

In the annual ranking, the Race to London, Roger Federer took the lead ahead of Novak Djokovic with the triumph in Miami. Dominic Thiem remains fifth, John Isner jumped from 17 positions to sixth. Alexander Zverev still has some catching up to do in 2019: the German number one is currently only number 22 on the annual charts.
