One thing that Roger Federer never tired of emphasizing in the days in London is already certain: he will definitely stay with tennis. In what way, the Swiss left it open, but given the pictures from the British capital, it would be surprising if Federer were not to be seen regularly at various events.

In any case, the 41-year-old revealed that Federer will also be present at the upcoming edition of the Laver Cup in Vancouver. As the captain of the European selection, the 20-time Grand Slam winner will probably not act yet, as Björn Borg is likely to be on the bench next year. Federer could make his debut as captain of Team Europe as early as 2024.

Murray on Federer: 'He loves the game'

Andy Murray would certainly enjoy it. "I am sure that Roger will remain involved in the event in some way and maybe one day he will lead the team," said the two-time Olympic champion in London. "He watches a lot of tennis, he loves the game."

As Federer emphasized, he could also imagine working as a TV expert in the future. "I never thought I'd say that, but a few months ago I said to myself: why not comment?" said the longtime world number one.

These days, however, Federer will first deal with the numerous appreciations of his career. So far, he has hardly got around to it, says the 41-year-old. In addition, he will now spend more time with his family. Federer can still think about the future.
