For the remaining two places in the eighth field, Diego Schwartzman (ARG) and Matteo Berrettini (ITA) are currently the first contenders.

In doubles, the Lower Austrian Jürgen Melzer still has a certain chance of qualifying with the French Edouard Roger-Vasselin. In 13th place in the race, the duo is 390 points behind the top eight. In the double field, six London places are still available. French Open winners Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies are fixed.

Tsitsipas moves back to St. Petersburg

Tsitsipas, one of seven top ten players who will serve at the Erste Bank Open in the Wiener Stadthalle, has withdrawn from St. Petersburg. The Greek informed on Monday that he was slightly injured. "I had a minor injury in my leg, but I had an MRI and it was checked properly," said the French Open semi-finalist.

On the advice of the doctors, he withdrew his mention of St. Petersburg. "I'm taking a week off and preparing for Vienna." There, then in Paris-Bercy and at the ATP Finals in London, he wants to play. "I am delighted that I have the chance to defend my title there." Tsitsipas had beaten Dominic Thiem in the O2-Arena in last year's final.
